Tuesday (9/8) we will be taking a field trip to Cobb County's Safety Town.  Fire Safety booklets need to be complete by then.

The students are working in the computer lab once a week on math fact fluency.  They need to have their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division pretests completed by Thursday (9/10).  They may work on this at home.  They have the website and directions in the front of their agendas.

If your child would like to be the student council rep, or be in the environmental club, please let me know and I will see that they get an application.

Math - Continue to work on facts, particulary the X7's next week.  We will begin long multiplication (34X6).

Reading - Continue nightly homework.  Everyone is almost finished with a second novel.

Scinece - We're still working on weather.

Social Studies - We are finishing map skills and will soon learn about the Native Americans and how they depended on their environment.
