PTA NEWS
The Blackwell Foundation is sponsoring Teacher FUNraisers over the next 2
weeks. Teachers have volunteered their time to provide fun opportunities for
Blackwell students. The cost is only $10 per child, per activity. There is a
Kickball game with the 5th grade teachers and canvas painting with Ms. Crozier,
Ms. Granger and Ms. McGee on Monday, May 4th. Other activities include an
exercise/dance boot camp, jewelry making, stamping and musical games with Ms.
Donn.

down. Registration and payment for all activities is due Friday, May 1st.

And our Art Department at Blackwell could use your help getting ready for Art Night. Please review the following times and if you can help, please contact Ms. Mckeehan and let her know.
1:00-4:30 setting up the show (inserting the artworks into their mats and
frames, as well as setting up tables in the gym with displays on them, also
setting up the art stations in the cafeteria)
5:00-7:00 is the actual art show (during this time I need volunteers that will
assist in the gym in helping parents find their students work, and assisting
with the bagging and purchasing of the student's artwork)
7:00-8:00 breaking down the show (getting all the tables out of the gym, as
well as taking the artworks out of their frames, and etc.)
