Skills Tutor Available Over the Summer
The computer program "skills tutor" will be available over the summer. It can be accessed on Blackwell's website. Please take advantage of this great resource to stay fresh on math, reading,and language arts skills.
It's been a true pleasure to teach your child. They've all grown so much academically and socially this year,and I'm so proud of all the progress they've made . Have a wonderful summer!

End of the Year Awards
Awards wil be given out for Mrs. Sandy's homeroom on Wednesday, May 20th at 10 am in the classroom. Parents are invited to attend and cheer on their child.

Talent Show May 12th
The Blackwell foundation will be selling G'Angelo's pizza for $2.00 a slice prior to Tuesday night's talent show!!
Homeroom Placement for 2009-2010 School Year
Families – It is hard to believe that the end of the 2008-09 school year is at hand. I know many of you would like the opportunity to have a voice in the homeroom placement of your child/children for the 2009-10 school year. If so, please submit a letter to the attention of Maurine Kozol and Leslie Mansfield indicating the teacher qualities you believe are a perfect match for your student/students. Please do not request a specific teacher by name as those requests will not be honored. Although there is no guarantee that we will be able to honor your request, we take all written suggestions into consideration. Deadline date for submission of this letter will be Friday, May 15th.
