Hopefully this week-end will be the start of a new beginning....SPRING!
As the weather gets nicer and the days get longer, we all want to be out more. Please remind your children how important it is to complete their work and get their proper papers signed and of course, returned to school, so they can get credit for their hard work.
As CRCT time draws near, we are all working feverishly on our reading skills. Mrs. Hinton and I, and the children have all seen wonderful progress! We are thankful that the children are working so hard and that all of you are too. We all need to continue working together to show our children that we care.
I have included a "sp sheet in with your child's homework. It's a great way to become familiar with all the phonetic sounds that we have been working on this year. The children enjoy working on them and we have already noticed an improvement in their decoding.
Please remember that Trivia night is coming up next Thursday, Feb. 27th. I's going to be lots of fun. Watch for the flyer to come home with your children. It's a wonderful way for families and friends to get together to support Blackwell
The school dance that was cancelled last week due to the snow, has been rescheduled for March 10th. I hope to see you all there.
Thank you to all who came by Publix for Blackwell's Math Night. Anyway that we all can support Blackwell is always so appreciated.
Now...think Spring! :-)
