FALL IS HERE

    I hope you all survived the "flood of the century." It was quite a week! Testing is over and we can now look forward to the rest of the year.

  

Fall Festival - Clarkdale Assistance

    The Relay for Life Team is going to be selling delicious cakes, and cookies once again at Blackwell's Fall Festival this Friday. Please come by and say "hi" and sample some of the wonderful baked goodies.

     Please remember to check in your child's agenda for any notes, or assignments and sign as needed. It's important that you do this as they will lose points from their behavior contracts throughout the grades if they aren't signed or if homework doesn't make it to school. They need to know that we are ALL working together.

    Skills Tutor is a wonderful computer program.

Students have been trained on Skills Tutor and used it last school year at Blackwell.  This software program reviews skills and gives the student their score right away.  This is a GREAT tool for math facts, and reading practice!!!

It's Almost Over

      One more day of testing for 3rd and 5th graders. Hopefully, your children will stay healthy and be ready to come back to our normal Instructional schedule.

       I would really appreciate it very much if you would please send in either some sanitizing soap..the squirt kind that doesn't need water, a box of tissues, or a pack of lysol wipes. We are trying our best to keep those bad germs away.

     Please continue to check your child's agenda and behavior management program every night.

     The next "hat day" is Friday, September 25th.

One Week Down and One Week To Go

Testing for 3rd is going well. There is one more week of testing after this, and then we can get back to our normal instructional schedule.

The students are working hard on their assignments. Please make sure that you check their homework for accuracy and sign at the bottom. This way they will know that we are ALL working together.

Tomorrow, Friday, September 10th, is 8 years since the horrific 9/11 attacks upon the U.S. In commemoration, we are all planning to wear the American colors to show support for those who lost loved ones.
