Please join us in welcoming Ms. Yandow who will be doing her student teaching with us from January until April. She actually attended Blackwell fom kindergarten through fifth grade. I am sure we will all learn a lot from her as she gets ready for a class of her own!

The South Cobb High Schools Band has been chosen to play at the Presidential Inauguration next month. They need help to raise over $70,000 so they can attend this historical event. Blackwell is helping out by hosting HAT DAY this Friday, December 12th. Please donate what you can to help South Cobb H.S. All donations will be given to the band.
It is a great honor to be chosen for this event. Let's show some Cobb County spirit and help them out!

1/30 - Hat Day - Bring $0.50 to donate to Team Blackwell and the American Cancer Society
Mrs. McGee's and Ms. Crozier's class party will be on Friday, December 19th from 11:00-12:00. Letters are coming home today with students. Mrs. Blancato and Mrs. LeCroy are the contact parents for the party.
