What a great week we had in first grade! We are taking timed addition and subtraction test to 10 in 5 minutes.
2. We are learning about short 0 and short 0 words.
3. We learned about Johnny Appleseed.
4. We made applesauce!! Yummy!
5. Continue to work on addition and subtraction facts to 10 for memory.
6. Continue to work on your 200 word list, 2nd grade or 3rd grade words.
7. Continue to read daily with your child.( ask who, what and where questions about the book)
Bonus :
Draw a picture of something that you like that is made out of apples or write 3 sentences about facts that you learned about Johnny Appleseed. Bring this to your teacher on Monday for a treat!
